I used to have the full Wiccan Rede printed above. Some had mentioned that without saying how this relates to me, I'm just copying something and putting it on another page or venue. Hence, I have cut out the parts that are the most important to the path I am trying to follow.
Whether or not you are pagan, or wiccan, or solitary or part of a coven, these words apply to all of us. We try to live and let live, letting others know of our beliefs, but never trying to convert anyone. I know what I believe, and that's all that is important to me. If I begin to push my beliefs on you, then I'm doing you harm, in my eyes.
Without the friends I've made, confusion would have blinded me to new things. Say and believe whatever you choose, but please don't ever become unable to open your mind to another way. There may be beautiful road ahead, but you'll miss it because of the blinders you choose to wear. Following a different path may have shown you wondrous sites, but you would never see them if you do not allow yourself the chance to wander.
As there are many different kinds of people in the world, so there are many paths or choices. You may choose to be a solitary type, or feel the need to be with others, in a coven. The most important thing is that it feels right to you. If you feel you don't have enough information, there are many books, faqs, newsgroups and listservs that can help you on your path. If your path doesn't follow Wicca and you feel the rede isn't for you, by all means...go on your path and best wishes to you.
